Welcome to Become Your True Self. My name is Akaysha, and I am dedicated to guiding you on a transformative journey through the power of transpersonal hypnotherapy, past life regression therapy, and somatic bellydance.
Rooted in spirituality and centered in Christ, my own path of personal and spiritual growth has been the foundation of my life. Overcoming the challenges that once prevented me from fully expressing who I am, I have discovered the profound importance of creative expression. I believe that we are all inherently creative beings, yet the trials of life often diminish our sense of wonder and faith.
Often, head knowledge is not enough to truly understand another’s experience. It takes a certain amount of related experience to really empathize. Having dealt with toxic personalities, experienced motherhood and single parenthood, faced heartbreak and grief, I possess a wide spectrum of emotional relatability. I have learned to overcome many obstacles, say no, not place an over-importance on others’ perceptions of me, and take risks to follow my heart. From this place of having overcome, I am here to help you overcome and become your true and wonderful self.

My Qualifications
I am a trained hypnotherapist, having graduated from the European College of Hypnotherapy in 2002. My extensive experience in bellydance from 2004 as a teacher and performer has enriched my approach and method in teaching this beautiful art to women from all walks of life. Additionally, my passion for personal growth and living life authentically has led me to become an accomplished songwriter and music producer, having graduated in 2017 with first class honours in music technology.
